Who are we and what do we do?

GMPRG is a voluntary community group that acts as a forum for representatives from a range of organisations including clubs, societies, charities, schools, voluntary groups, business networks and statutory bodies operating in and around Great Missenden, Prestwood and the neighbouring villages. Our aim is to facilitate discussion and collaboration between these organisations for the social, economic and environmental benefit of the community.

Our community benefits from being the centre of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with Great Missenden as its de facto capital. Like any rural community in England it is subject to the same challenges and changes that face us all today and it is our business to consider those challenges and changes with a view to shaping them in ways that are of benefit to local people.
